G String
G String is a four-piece, all-woman punk/grunge/alternative rock band from Montreal. With an iMovie-esque internet presence, crowdwork that feels like a quirky yet charming standup routine, and sounds akin to L7 and Amyl and the Sniffers, the band leans into the absurdity and messiness of life through loud music and chaotically silly energy. Drawing on lived experiences, both within the music scene and in their personal lives, G String aims to create a safe space for femmes, queer folks, and BIPOC audiences, while remaining connected to wider crowds through their unmissable passion for music.
